Being Enough

My breathwork teacher sent me these mantras. He felt I needed them. How do some people just know? 🤯

I can see clearly for my clients how a mantra can be supportive for them, providing an antidote to the less helpful thinking patterns they might be living under. Balancing out the scales. ⚖️

But it’s so hard to accept these mantras into my own heart. I don’t think I do enough at all and I’m scared to let a sentiment like this into my life in case I stop and I can’t start again.🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

This is why coaches need their own support system of supervisors, coaches and even therapists themselves. We might know the right questions to ask and have amazing tools to offer our clients, but doing the work yourself is a separate journey. 🙃

The last couple of years I’ve started trying to stand in my own skin more, if that makes any sense. Im trying to be in charge of my own life, but I am still constantly looking for permission and validation. Finding conviction is so hard for me, and starting to post on social media consistently is no exception. 🙈

But things have shifted since this journey started, and I believe it’s possible to evolve and grow if we can enjoy the process, take baby steps and stop trying to be “finished”.

We are never finished <— This truth haunts me! But maybe it can also take the pressure off? 😮‍💨

So here’s to trying, and here’s to be honest with ourselves along the way too ✨
