When I do this exercise it takes about 10 goes before I can start to find the meaningful sentiments underneath the superficial ones.

For me, a lot of the superficial things were actually really valuable sentiments once I kept going and found what was underneath: Like having more money to keep renovating our house… that sentence ended up being more about my desire to have a serene place to nurture my creativity and a connection to myself.

When I put it like that, I can start creating that space without suddenly winning the lottery. I can clean and tidy, and put candles we already have here on to create a sense of intention. I guess your sanctuary is your mind - and how you create your reality from that mind 🧠 ✨

How much of this stuff are we just getting in our own way with?
