Ever worked with a Type 3?! 🦸♂️
Wow - the world REALLY needs Type 3s. They push, they drive, they believe in people & their ability to do more. They rise fast in work environments, on account of their need for recognised success. 💪
The kind of success 3s want is often conventional, but will also be dictated by whatever success looks like in their particular family or community.🏡💰♥️
They’re talented chameleons who can shapeshift to present whatever the crowd is looking for - making them awesome at pitching & fun to be around at the Christmas party! 🥳
But as with every Enneagram type, their strength is also their Achille’s heel.
They’re often too concerned with how things look from the outside, & if they don’t burn themselves out first, they might exhaust co-workers with their speed & expectations. 🙃
Most 3s struggle to deal with difficult feelings head-on, in themselves or others. They confuse moving into action & keeping things surface level with being a simple solution to complicated emotions. 🙈
This fundamental misunderstanding of what it means to be human can make the less evolved 3s of the world hard to be around long-term! 😮💨
But as 3s evolve & do the real work (which has little to do with marathons & promotions & more to do with stopping & observing) they can become incredible friends & leaders who can hear what those around them are telling them & actually take it on board. That’s the boss we all dream of! 🥰 🤩
